Image Attribution & Takedown Notice

Third-Party Imagery
How we source and credit imagery from other rightsholders.

Where a generator's featured image is derived from publicly distributed promotional material (e.g. official key art, publisher-released wallpapers, press kit imagery), all copyright, trademark, and related rights remain with the original creator, publisher, or rightsholder.

All names, logos, character designs, and related visual elements depicted on such pages are the property of their respective owners. GenName.io is an independent name-generation tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the franchises, studios, or publishers referenced.

Wherever feasible, we prefer original AI-generated artwork produced from our own prompt pipeline (see the generator's associated prompt metadata). Third-party imagery is used only where it materially helps readers identify the subject of the article.

Takedown & Removal Requests
If you're a rightsholder, we'll act quickly and in good faith.

If you are the copyright holder (or an authorized agent of the copyright holder) of an image that appears on GenName.io and you would like it removed, you can request removal by emailing us. We aim to act on valid requests within 3 business days.

Please include the following in your request:

  • The exact URL(s) on genname.io where the image appears.
  • A description of the copyrighted work and, if available, a link to the original source.
  • Your contact information (name, email, and relationship to the rightsholder).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement (under penalty of perjury) that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rightsholder.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or replace the image promptly and confirm the action in reply. You do not need to send a formal DMCA notice — a short, clear email is enough.
